When expressing an interest in obtaining additional information about the Services or registering to use the Services, We require you to provide Us with personal contact information, such as name, company name, address, phone number, and email address (“Required Contact Information”). When purchasing the Services, We may require you to provide Us with financial qualification and billing information, such as billing name and address, purchase order details, and the number of employees within the organization that will be using the Services (“Billing Information”). We may also ask you to provide additional information, such as company industry (“Optional Information”). Required Contact Information, Billing Information, and Optional Information about Customers are referred to collectively as “Data About Our Customers”, or in the case of Attendees, “Data About Our Attendees”.
As you navigate the Our Sites, We may also collect information through the use of commonly-used information-gathering tools, such as cookies and Web beacons (“Web Site Navigational Information”). Web Site Navigational Information includes standard information from your Web browser (such as browser type and browser language), your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, and the actions you take on Our Sites (such as the Web pages viewed and the links clicked).
3. Use of Information Collected
We use Data About Our Customers to perform the services requested. For example, if you fill out a “Contact Me” Web form, We will use the information provided to contact you about your interest in the Services.
We also use Data About Our Attendees to plan and host corporate events, host online forums and social networks in which event attendees may participate, and to populate online profiles for Attendees on Our Sites. Additional information on the Company’s privacy practices with respect to Data About Our Attendees may be found in additional privacy statements on the event Web sites, as the case may be. We may also use Data About Our Customers and Data About Our Attendees for marketing purposes. For example, We may use information you provide to contact you to further discuss your interest in the Services and to send you information regarding Us, its affiliates, and its partners, such as information about promotions or events.
We use Web Site Navigational Information to operate and improve Our Sites. We may also use Web Site Navigational Information alone or in combination with Data About Our Customers and Data About Our Attendees to provide personalized information about Us.

Cookies, Web Beacons and IP Addresses. This section describes the types of Web Site Navigational Information used on Our Sites and how this information may be used.
Web Beacons. We may use Web beacons alone or in conjunction with cookies to compile information about Customers and Visitors’ usage of the Our Sites and interaction with emails from Us. Web beacons are clear electronic images that can recognize certain types of information on your computer, such as cookies, when you viewed a particular Web site tied to the Web beacon, and a description of a Web site tied to the Web beacon. For example, We may place Web beacons in marketing emails that notify Us when you click on a link in the email that directs you to one of Our Sites. We may use Web beacons to operate and improve the Our Sites and email communications.
IP Addresses. When you visit Our Sites, We may collect your IP addresses to track and aggregate non-personal information. For example, We may use IP addresses to monitor the regions from which Customers and Visitors navigate to Our Sites.
5. Public Forums, Refer a Friend, and Customer Testimonials
We may provide bulletin boards, blogs, or chat rooms on Our Sites. Any personal information you choose to submit in such a forum may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these forums.
Customers and Visitors may elect to use Our referral program to inform friends about the Our Sites. When using the referral program, We request the friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit Our Sites. We do not store this information.
We may post a list of Customers and testimonials on Our Sites that contain information such as Customer names and titles. We obtain the consent of each Customer prior to posting any information on such a list or posting testimonials.
6. Sharing of Information Collected
Compelled Disclosure. We reserves the right to use or disclose information provided if required by law or if We reasonably believe that use or disclosure is necessary to protect Our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.
7. International Transfer of Information Collected
To facilitate Our global operations, We may transfer and access Data About Our Customers and Data About Our Attendees from around the world, including the United States. This Privacy Statement shall apply even if We transfer Data About Our Customers or Data About Our Attendees to other countries.
8. Communications Preferences
We offer Visitors, Customers, and Attendees who provide contact information a means to choose how We use the information provided. You will always have the option to “unsubscribe” to marketing emails. Additionally, you may send a request specifying your communications preferences to email@example.com. Customers cannot opt out of receiving transactional emails related to their account with Us or the Services.
9. Correcting and Updating Your Information
Customers may update or change their registration information by editing their user or organization record. To update a user or organization profile, please login to http://www.proposalsfactory.com with your username and password. Attendees may update or change their registration information on the event’s Web site after logging in. To update any potential Billing Information or have your registration information deleted, or to discontinue your account and to have information you maintained in the Services return to you, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Requests to access, change, or delete your information will be handled within 30 days.
10. Customer Data
Our Customers will electronically submit data or information to the Services for hosting and processing purposes (“Customer Data”). We will not review, share, distribute, or reference any such Customer Data except as provided in the ProposalsFactory Master Agreement, or as may be required by law. In accordance with the ProposalsFactory Master Agreement, We may access Customer Data only for the purpose of providing the Services, preventing or addressing service or technical problems, at a Customer’s request in connection with customer support matters, or as may be required by law.
We use robust security measures to protect Customer Data from unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and help ensure the appropriate use of Customer Data. Customers are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of their usernames and passwords. Because We use the Services to maintain Data About Our Customers and Data About Our Attendees, this information, which is stored in the Services, is secured in the same manner as described above for Customer Data.
